Attention Markets

What is an Attention Market?

An Attention Market is a category in which multiple positions compete for Attention Share. Each position represents a named entity or idea within that category.

The Global Power market showing United States at 21.1%, China at 16.2%, and Google at 8.1%, with Microsoft, Nvidia, India, the EU, and Russia listed below.

Price as Attention Share

The price of a position represents its Attention Share. A position priced at $0.34 commands 34% of the attention in its market. That number moves with each trade, rising and falling with crowd demand.

Like a prediction market, but for attention

Just like in a prediction market, the prices of positions come entirely from trading activity. Unlike prediction markets, Sentidex markets never resolve. Positions can be bought or sold indefinitely.

Prices always sum to $1

All positions in an Attention Market always sum to 100% ($1).
