Getting Started

Getting Started

This guide walks you through your first SentiDex trade.

Prerequisites

  • A crypto wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet)
  • USDC on Sepolia testnet (for the current beta)
⚠️

SentiDex is currently in beta on Sepolia testnet. Do not send mainnet funds.

Step 1 — Connect your wallet

Visit sentidex.io (opens in a new tab) and click Connect Wallet in the top-right. Select your wallet provider and approve the connection.

Once connected, your wallet address and pp-USDC balance will appear in the header.

Step 2 — Get testnet USDC

Use the Deposit button in the wallet panel to mint mock USDC for testing. This is free on testnet and gives you funds to trade with.

Step 3 — Browse markets

The Markets page shows all live SentiDex markets. Each card displays:

  • The market name and current top positions
  • Real-time implied attention scores (prices)
  • A live pulse animation when trades occur

Step 4 — Pick a position

Click a market to open the detail view. You'll see the full position list with current prices and your existing exposure (if any).

Click a position row to open the trade panel on the right.

Step 5 — Trade

Set your size

Use the slider or type directly into the shares input to set how many shares you want.

Review the cost

The trade panel shows the Cost (what you'll pay) and your After balance and share count.

Execute

Click Buy to confirm the trade. Approve the transaction in your wallet.

Your position will appear immediately once the transaction confirms.

Managing your position

Your current exposure appears in the Now panel on the trade screen. To reduce or close a position, drag the slider left or click Close under your shares.

Withdrawing

Use the wallet panel to withdraw your pp-USDC balance back to USDC at any time.
